OpportunatorBot
Opportunator maintains a directory of opportunities with application deadlines. To keep it accurate, we periodically read publicly available listing pages and feeds.
How to identify us
Our crawler sends this user-agent, and never presents itself as anything else:
OpportunatorBot/1.0 (+https://opportunator.com/bot)
What we collect
Only the public facts of a listing: its title, the organisation running it, the application deadline, the award amount where stated, eligibility notes, and the link to your own page. We store a short extract for search, never a full copy of your text, and we do not use it to train models.
How we behave
- We read and honour
robots.txt, including for endpoints that would otherwise respond. - We space our requests out and stay well below anything that would register as load.
- Every listing credits its source and links out to the original page. We send you traffic; we do not replace you.
Asking us to stop
Disallow OpportunatorBot in your robots.txt and we will stop on our next run. If you would rather we removed listings we already hold, or you spot something inaccurate, email hello@opportunator.com and we will action it.
